LEAD Programs

Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) is an international non-profit organization with a fast growing network of 1800 leaders spread over 90 countries across the globe.

LEAD’s mission is to create and sustain a global network of leaders who are committed to providing change towards patterns of economic development that are environmentally sustainable and socially equitable. These emerging leaders are trained through LEAD’s innovative training programs and thus work to mobilize others to make a real difference to the future of this planet.

LEAD India is a member of LEAD International since 1991. It takes pride in the growing strength and diverse talents of its 146 LEAD Fellows, some of whom are rising stars in their chosen field – be it in government or non-governmental organizations, industry, media and academia. All of them have undergone the unique training program focused on enhancing their knowledge and leadership skills.
