Biosketch: PhD in area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from WISDOM, Banasthali Vidyapith, Dr. Divya Kirti is involved in teaching, research, training and consulting in following areas - CSR, Organization Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Human Quality Development (HQD), Management Thought and Indian Management. Dr. DivyaKirti has been co-drafter of ISO26000 (International Guidance Standard on Social Responsibility by ISO, Geneva) and was elected member in the drafting team viz. Integrated Drafting Task Force (IDTF) as Developing countries' representative of SSRO Stakeholder Group. Currently, she is an elected member of ISO26000-Post Publication Organization Stakeholder Advisory Group. In past, she has worked with not-for-profit organizations and was Master Trainer (MT) for capacity-building of Panchayati Raj Institutions in Rajasthan, the programme organized under the aegis of Department of Panchayati Raj, Rajasthan & UNICEF. She has several papers to her credit and has presented them at national and international conferences, within India and outside. Biosketch: DeepshikhaDeka is Chief Engineer with Oil India Ltd.(OIL), a public sector oil company engaged in exploration & production of crude oil and natural gas. She holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Masters in Business Administration and is a Fellow of LEAD. Apart from energy management, Ms Deka has worked as a change agent or Internal Coach in OIL's strategic change initiative called 'Breakthrough performance (BP) Project' to enable the organisation to transformation itself into a vision driven and value governed organisation. Her work involves Visionary Planning exercises, facilitating Dialogue sessions on critical issues of the organisation and conducting change management programs for people at different management levels for fostering change in the organisation culture and climate. She designs and conducts intensive programs & workshops on the concepts of Learning Organisation, Leadership Development, Systems thinking, Ethics & Values and Emotional Intelligence. She is also involved in community work for women entrepreneurs and artisans and is interested in Systems Thinking tools for dealing with complex environmental issues, use of Dialogue as a tool for harnessing collective intelligence of groups and communities. She has been involved with various programs of LEAD namely Climate Change Leaders(CCL) project as member of Regional Advisory Council (RAC) of the North Eastern (NE) Region and mentored CCLs from Assam for leadership capacity building at grass root level, Cohort Trainings and other programs on capacity building. Biosketch: Dinesh Agrawal is General Manager (BE) since 2012 prior to holding this position he was General Manager (CSR) and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) group since 2004 at NTPC in New Delhi, India. NTPC is a power major with 20 coal and 7 gas based power stations having an installed capacity of 27,404 MW. With ongoing construction of coal, gas & hydro power projects, coal mining etc., NTPC plans to become a 75,000 MW company by the year 2017, including nuclear power. Dinesh is responsible for planning and implementation of CSR programs for NTPC stations across India with annual budget of Rs. 170 million. He formulated the Corporate Social Responsibility Community Development (CSR & CD) policy of NTPC (July 2004) and set-up NTPC Foundation, an independent Trust. He coordinates Global Compact, an initiative of UN and Social Code of India-Partnership-Forum, an initiative of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) & UNDP. He took several social initiatives in NTPC stations i.e. Quality Circles in villages and schools, inter-unit CSR-CD award for all operating stations, voluntary organizations of NTPC employees, guidelines for improving education in village schools etc. Dinesh is on the expert group of International Standard Organisation on framing ISO 26000 and on national committee of Bureau of Indian Standard on framing standard similar to ISO 26000 and SA 8000. During 1994-2003, Dinesh framed policies and guidelines on Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) and guided socio-economic surveys & impact assessments, formulated R&R plans in consultation with stakeholders like government agencies, NGOs, project officials and the project affected persons (PAPs). He took initiative of conceptualizing and establishing Public Information Centre (PIC) and Village Development Advisory Committees (VDAC) in 1994 in 20 stations and was instrumental in negotiations and resolving conflict of Resettlement in Singrauli Region in consultation with Independent Monitoring Panel (IMP), the World Bank and PAPs. During 1986-1993, Dinesh coordinated Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies and Environmental Management Plans (EMP) for 15 power projects with total capacity of 25,000 MW and facilitated environmental clearances from statutory agencies. He coordinated the Integrated EIA study of Singrauli Region conducted by EdF, France in 1988 and took the initiative of conducting Ecological Monitoring using satellite imagery in 1991. During 1977-1985, Dinesh worked in operation and maintenance of Badarpur Thermal Power Station having 3 of 100 MW and 2 of 210 MW units during which he solved few chronic problems of coal mills with innovative solutions. Dinesh holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from GB Pant University, Pantnagar and joined NTPC in 1977. He attended a course on Hydropower and Environmental organised by International Centre for Hydropower in 2003 at Norway. Dinesh has authored extensively on environmental and resettlement issues. He contributed to development of course material on 'Resettlement' for Indira Gandhi National Open University. He has presented papers in many conferences e.g. at UNIPEDE Conference at Hamburg, 1993, The World Bank Conference at New Delhi, 1996, World Sociological Conference at Rio de Janeiro etc. Under his leadership, NTPC was bestowed the prestigious ICC-UNEP Award for Sustainable Development Partnerships in 2002, Platts Business week Award for best Community Development Program of the year 2002 & 2005 at USA, TERI's CSR Award in 2002, Mother Teresa Corporate Citizenship Award 2007, and Golden Peacock global CSR award at Portugal.

Biosketch: Meeta Srivastava has been with the National Geographic Channel (NGC) for the past five years as an Independent Consultant of Mission Programme, 'Ride the Van'. Her work entails reinforcing learning in a hundred Government Schools in the central Himalayan region, by screening NGC films, as well as utilizing other creative methodologies of teaching-learning. She is also a Consultant for other NGOs working in the field of Early Childhood Education. Prior to this, she has worked in the field of community health. She is also involved with differently abled people. She has received a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Allahabad and a Diploma in Mental Retardation from the National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped, Secundrabad.

Biosketch: Seema Awasthi has a Doctorate in Environment Engineering, with more than 14 years of experience. She has been involved in number of environmental projects as Project Management specialist, Research & Design specialist, Urban Environment Management Expert and CDM specialist. Her responsibilities include project management starting from its conceptualization to technical and financial details, interaction with the clients and project stakeholders, development of detailed project report with financial modeling and development of project implementation programme for various World Bank, ADB, JNNURM funded environmental projects. She is also involved in estimation of possible CDM benefits for the given project and supervising all the work associated with the CDM benefits. This includes development of PIN, PDD documents as per the applicable approved methodology, host country approval, dealing with the DOE for project registration and validation, negotiations and finalization of deal and ERPA (Emission reduction purchase agreement) with the CER buyers, due diligence of the projects, organizing stakeholder consultations, capacity building workshops etc. Her responsibility also includes assisting the project proponents in getting environmental clearances, pollution related clearances from central/state pollution control board and approval of funds/grant from various state and central government agencies e.g. Ministry of Urban development (MoUD), Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF). She has a good experience of preparation of Technical Documents, EIA reports; Engineering Design & preparation of detailed drawings, Quantity and Cost estimates, Rate analysis; financial analysis, Preparation of Contract documents for various waste management projects.

Biosketch: Ashish Rai lives and works in Holy city Varanasi. His work area is predominantly in Health sector. His company Aarogyam is working in nine districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh currently in association with William J Clinton Foundation for Diarrheal control and management. The program aims to reduce morbidity and mortality related to diarrheal disease among children under 5 years of age, through deployment of new and improved approaches to scale up Zinc and Oral Rehydration salts (ORS) for diarrhea treatment through both public and private sector channels in Uttar Pradesh. Ultimately this program aims to reduce the burden of diarrhea on child health and increase child survival in India, and contribute to improved child health outcomes and provide actionable information for diarrhea treatment.
