Mr Shinde has 28 years of extensive experience in Mining, Safety & Environmental Management. He holds competency in Mining, Production & Safety functions in large Opencast & Underground Mines with budgeting control to achieve targeted production with Shovel dumper combinations & other mechanisation. He is experienced in devising Environmental Engineering solutions/Pollution Control Measures for Mining Industry to comply with SPCB Consent conditions & Environment Clearance conditions of MOEF. He has thoroughly worked in preparation of EMP, Public Hearings, Obtaining Environmental Clearances, State Assembly & Parliament matter, Action Plans, Implementation of ISO-14001, Plantations, Right to Information. He has also looked after enforcement of statutory provisions related to Mining Industry, Environment & Pollution Control through Planning, Budgeting & Execution of projects /documentation.
Hemendra holds Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Nagpur University and PGDEE in Ecology & Environment from Indian Institute of Ecology & Environment, New Delhi . He completed his Bachelor of Scienc & Engineering (Mining Engineering) from National Institute of Technology Rourkela. Mr Shinde is a Certified Clean Energy Professional and an Internal Auditor-ISO-14001.
Some of his projects include Desilting/Cleaning of Erai river at Chandrapur with Irrigation department of Governmentt of Maharashtra; Afforestation of 150 hectares degraded forest lands at Chandrapur with FDCM; Restoration of biodiversity of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) on Overburden dumps of coal mines at Chandrapur; World Bank Funded ESMP – Environment & Social Development Project Effects of coal /sand transport on agricultural fields in Chandrapur with NEERI and many others.
