Anand S Jadhav, IFS

Anand Jadhav works at Goa Forest Department as Assistant Conservator of Forests. He is responsible for overall upkeep and management of Wild Life Sanctuaries viz Cotigao and Netravali, Community Development activities in and around protected Areas in South Goa. He is also responsible for all the investigation in regards to all the offences related to Wild Life within the jurisdiction. He has experience of over 16 years in Agriculture , Horticulture subject matter. He has passion for community based activities and is in initial stages for promoting community based activities in Protected area management and improvement in their Social and economic status.

He has been a hard core teacher in the subject of Agri Based activities for capacity building and Self Entrepreneurships. He is also an active member of Botanical Society of Goa for last 18 years and Vice President of Lions Club of Mala Fontainhas, Goa

Anand Jadhav has a Master’s degree in Agriculture with a specialization in Horticulture from the Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani, Maharashtra and Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry, from Central Academy for State Forest Service , Dehradun under Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India.
