Digvijay Singh Khati is the member of Indian Forest Service. Presently he is posted as Chief Conservator of Forests (Planning and Financial Management) Uttarakhand state at Dehradun. He was earlier posted as Director Corbett Tiger Reserve more than four years. Besides holding Directorship of Rajaji National Park, he was a faculty in Wildlife Institute of India. He is specialized to work in community participation, conservation education, ecotourism and biodiversity conservation.
He is a trained forester and also had training in Wildlife Management at University of New England, NSW, Australia and University of Bradford, England. Besides that he also worked as FAO-UNDP Fellow at Phillip Island, Penguine Reserve, Victoria, Royal National Park, NSW in Australia.
As a Consultant for the Stat Government of Arunachal Pradesh, India He wrote Ecotourism plan. This plan was funded by Planning Commission, Government of India. Presently he is the key person in the State of Uttarakhand to prepare plans for the Conservation of Biodiversity and Natural Resources.
