Dr. Vidya has a diverse experience as functional leader in consulting and corporate jobs in management systems; requirements of international standards for environment, health, safety, human rights, supplier management; integrating sustainability within business decisions for supply chain, acquisition, projects; EHS legal compliance; waste management; ESIA; etc. Currently she works as Senior Vice President- Sustainability with Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, India. She works with the Group Sustainability Cell of the Aditya Birla Group. She is responsible for developing the Sustainability Framework for the Aditya Birla Group meeting the international standards, responsible for third party assurance and certification of the sustainability framework documents, Implementation of the said standards, developing and maintaining the Group sustainability external and internal website and roll out the Group standards for Supply chain management, Contractor management, etc. in all businesses of the Aditya Birla Group.
Her Educational Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology from the University of the West of England, Bristol. M.Sc. in Environmental Pollution and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Pollution, both from Shivaji University, Maharashtra.
