Hekali Vikiye Zhimomi, IAS

Hekali Zhimomi has received a Post graduate Degree in Social work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She briefly worked with NGOs as a Consellor to recovering addicts before joining the Civil Services in 1996. She has held various positions in Government and is currently serving as the Director of the North East Zone Cultural Centre. She also supports the work of several NGOs in the area of her interest – HIV/AIDS, Health and Indigeneous Communities. She is also currently a Consultant to the State Government of Nagaland on Disaster Management.
