Maulik Sisodia

Maulik Sisodia is an Executive Director of a voluntary organization, Tarun Bharat Sangh (www.tarunbharatsangh.in) since 2009. After his MBA, he worked with an Agribusiness Corporate House before joining the development sector.

His interests are in policy level issues related to rivers and water security and believes in the philosophy of nature’s first right on its resources. His special competence is in implementing projects at grass root level with the end beneficiary being the most underprivileged making them resilient to Climate Changes through community driven de-centralized natural resource management and ecological rejuvenation.

He is a Campaigner of National Water Literacy Campaign, Jal Jan Jodo Abhiyaan, focusing on issues related to water conservation, management, governance and equal access. He is a Director of Tarun Water School which works on issues like water –security, pollution, rights etc.

At International level, he is one of founding members of The Flow Partnership, a global network of people and groups who device methods for water management to improve communities and environment.

As an Organizer, he plays an instrumental role in Global Water Literacy Campaign, World Water Walks for Peace. He was invited by Stockholm International Water Institute, Sweden as a senior professional during Stockholm World Water Week to speak on Youth Involvement in Water Sector and by France Libertés – Danielle Mitterrand Foundation, France as an expert on a panel during COP21 Paris for a Public hearing of European Youth Activists to speak on Creation & Struggle in Development Sector.

His book, 25 years of Evolution, describs the journey of Tarun Bharat Sangh as an organization including milestones and process of ecological rejuvenation.
