Seema Paul is currently the Managing Director at The Nature Conservancy, Washington. Previously, she has worked in the capacity of an Executive in Environment Philanthropy and Non Profit Management and also as CEO and Board member of the Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, a New Delhi-based organisation that promotes sustainable energy and transportation policies in India. Ms.Paul has also served as Chief of Policy at UNAIDS, and prior to that as the Senior Program Officer in the Environment Team with Ted Turner United Nations Foundation.
Seema has a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy from the University of Maryland and Master’s degree in English Literature from Delhi University. She is also an alumnus of the prestigious St. Stephen’s College in New Delhi. She was an Alfred Friendly Press Fellow and the International Herald Tribune Fellow at the INSEAD’S International Executive Programme.
