Silky Arora

Silky is a design professional and has been working in the commercial interior design sector since the last 10 years. She has provided design consultancy and management services for projects pan India like art installations at the IGIA terminal 3, Delhi airport, Restaurants and other F&B formats at airports in various cities. She has also reimagined and designed the look and feel of restaurant/cafe chains like Barista and Domino’s. Silky also provides design consultancy services to the NGO-Design For Change (DFC) India and contributes in curriculum redevelopment, brand positioning & communication and integrates sustainable development with the core strategy. She is a visiting faculty at the School of Design, Ambedkar University, Delhi. She teaches design process and sustainable innovation to masters students of the course – Social Design.

Silky is an Accessory Design(Lifestyle & personal products) graduate from NIFT, Bengaluru. In order to feed into her evolving interest areas she has attended various courses like Sustainability by Design at the Pratt Institute, New York and Craft Management & Entrepreneurship at the Indian Institute of Craft & Management, Jaipur. She has also attended various workshops and volunteered for projects in Auroville, India. She is a LEED Green Associate.
