Vijay Vardhan is heading the Natural Resource Management operations of ITC’s CSR team, which is referred as Social Investments programme. The Social Investment Programmes are implemented in 14 states and ITC works with many reputed and grass-root level NGOs for implementation of the programmes. He is currently based at Kolkata at ITC’s headquarter. Vijay Vardhan has an experience of 15 years in development sector with career spread across grass-root level NGO work and CSR portfolio. He had earlier worked in an irrigation bore-well development programme in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He has expertise in the areas of Rural Development & Natural Resource Management, Stake-holder engagement and Project Management.
Vijay Vardhan is a Post Graduate in Agriculture from B.A. College of Agriculture, Anand, Gujarat Agricultural University with Specialisation in Horticulture. He had completed graduation from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola Maharashtra
