She has been working in different parts of Delhi by running learning centers in Delhi for children and women’s Livelihood spaces. She has run various campaigns from enrolling children in formal school, Menstrual Hygiene awareness, food campaigns, etc.

To achieve it he supported youth and needy people through social development programs. He did various projects with NGOs, which are (Rag pickers enhancements, Menstruation hygiene management, Fight for hunger: served 20,000 families, taught children in a government school & to various clusters, and served during covid wave 2) Now serving on various causes independently across India.

Saumya Aggarwal is the co-founder and CEO of Youth for Peace International working on a vision to empower youth on conflict transformation, providing rehabilitation support to Rohingya Refugees, and advocating for meaningful youth engagement at the Glocal level. She has 6 years of experience in Facilitation, fundraising, project design and implementation, strategic partnership, and capacity building in the youth and peacebuilding field. Further, she has also worked with the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY), the United Nations for Major Group for Children and Youth, AYPN, GPPAC, and the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) to strengthen the capacities of youth to end violence in their communities and to create positive peace.

Shivam Shumsher is a social researcher and development practitioner with a rights-based focus. He is the Digital Health Interventions Officer at International Planned Parenthood Federation’s (IPPF) South Asia Office. Shivam has worked on themes including ICT4D, gender, public health, responsible business, and human rights in past.

Shubham founded the Organic brand ‘Gudmom by 1Organic’ with the sole purpose of creating employment and sustainable livelihoods for farmers. Abid Hasan is a development practitioner, social entrepreneur, and peace activist based in Bihar trained in Social Work and Computer Science on a merit scholarship, He has worked with the Government of Bihar India for the COVID-19 vaccination program, and with the national media house. He was involved as CELP Fellow with Harvard University; He was selected as Global Young Leaders Fellow & Karmaveer Chakra Award Recipient at IIT Delhi in 2019 instituted by iCONGO in Partnership with United Nations.

Aisha Rabbani was born and brought up in Bokaro Steel City. Currently, she is working as a Young Professional in the prestigious project of UPSRLM which is funded by the World Bank. She is playing an important role in helping women at disadvantage to reach above the poverty line, to help them make a livelihood out of their own region which has an indigenous appeal to itself.

And his experience includes community-based conservation and jhum cultivation in Nagaland.
Anita Paul
Anita Paul has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Delhi University and has been involved directly with community development programs for over 40 years. In 1992, she co-founded Pan Himalayan,
a Grassroots Development Foundation. It is a voluntary organization that spearheads sustainable mountain development initiatives in Indian Himalayan Region.

An Environmental Professional with 17+ years of strong experience in Environmental and Natural Safeguard Studies such as Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD), Environmental and Social Management Framework ESMF), Biodiversity Studies including Floral and Faunal Study for all infrastructure development projects such as Road and Highways, Oil & Gas Projects, Port & Marine Studies, Waste Management, Building Construction and Township Development, Sewerage and Water Supply & Water Sanitation, Irrigation and Hydroelectric projects and Solar and Wind Energy projects. Dr. Rawat is also well versed with many biodiversity assessment tools such as BiodiversityPRO, and IBAT for identifying Critical Habitats, Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA), and Important Biodiversity Areas (IBA) in accordance with IUCN, CMS, CITES, and Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1982. Under his leadership, Tri-Impact Global has led collaborative child-centric education programs for workers’ communities associated with global supply chains. These programs supported the education of around 45,000 at-risk children. Mr. Bhatt has also developed and led capacity-building programs for producers on responsible hiring and outsourcing and Participatory Action Learning-based supply chain improvement programs to address human rights risks, including Child Labor, through fostering collaboration.

Nima Tashi Bhutia
Nima Tashi Bhutia comes from a remote village in Sikkim and has been indispensable
part in the strengthening of community conservation and livelihood since 2004 in the
State. He is currently the State Project Officer, Livelihood for Mahatma Gandhi
National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in Sikkim. He has a
decade-long experience of being associated with conservation, Waste Management,
Climate Change and development planning in the State. He is a former member of the
Sikkim State Biodiversity Board, a winner of India Development Marketplace 2007 of
the Work Bank, a winner of an International fellowship on Community-led Solid Waste
Management by UN-HABITAT and the Government of the Republic of Korea and a Climate
Change Leader under Lead India
Pankaj Tiwari
Dr. Pankaj Tewari is an Executive Director of AAROHI, Satoli, Nainital, Uttarakhand. Dr. Tewari holds a doctorate in Forestry and Environment Science, with 22 years working experience in the field of environmental research, sustainable mountain development and livelihood security of rural communities. For the last 08 years he had focused on wider networking and replication of appropriate technologies for the best of humanity and nature.
He has been the professional trainer and delivered a series of successful ToTs for LCEP-2, UN-Habitat, Afghanistan and Mountain States of HKH. He has been the member of the Steering Committee of the Prolinnova Country platform in India, an NGO initiated international multi stakeholder platform to promote local innovation processes in ecologically oriented agriculture and NRM. Member of Commission on Ecosystem Management (CEM), IUCN for the Quadrennial Period 2017-2023.
He has expertise in planning, coordination, monitoring and documentation of development and research projects with focus on NRM, watershed approach, community health, child education and sustainable livelihoods. He is overall responsible for execution of programmes through his professional expertise for mountains in context of climate change mitigation and adaptation.
The specific efforts towards working with Van Raji schedule tribe and in timberline areas is the new dimension in his career. Dr. Tewari has led more than 21 projects for GIZ, ICIMOD, Tata Trusts, MOEF&CC, NMSHE, DST, UNDP, CSRs, etc. He has been the Principal Investigator for more than 6 projects that are based on action research. He had published 34 research and extension papers at national and international level along with 05 Popular Articles, 19 Booklets and training manuals on rural livelihood promotion and NRM. 07 Self learning study material for Uttarakhand Open University on Climate Change and Sustainable Livelihoods has been developed by him.
Lectures are being delivered from time to time by Dr. Tewari for Refresher Courses and Summer School at UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Kumaun University and Bengal University.
He was earlier the Executive Director with Central Himalayan Environment Association (CHEA). He also received certificate of excellence for two consecutive years for contribution in Uttarakhand Decentralized Watershed Development Programmes, a World Bank Funded Project. He received Certificate of Graduation as Climate Change Leader from LEAD, India in 2009 and has been selected as LEAD fellow for Cohort 19, LEAD India (still under hold).

Vishal Singh is a translational ecologist working under the framework of post-normal science to develop climate change adaptation strategies in the Himalayan region. He has more than 16 years of research experience working on different aspects of climate change in the region. Dr. Singh has led many national and international projects funded by the Government of India and reputed international donors.
